On Saturday night out with the girls for Mel's birthday at Sharkee's in NB, we met a 28-year old who goes by Jacewon. He's a lyricist/songwriter, or so it said on the pretty fly business card he handed my friend. Well I checked him out, he's pretty interesting. He's originally from Chicago, which made sense, because when we were talking to him, he seemed ultra-cool, ultra-laid back and without pretense or agenda. It seems like people from other states just have a different vibe going than what I'm used to meeting here in OC. His sound is different and fresh... a mix of alternative and hip-hop. I'm posting about him because he's trying to make it, and plus he was really nice to us and really nice means hooking us up with vodka shots for me and cactus coolers for my girly friend Tiffs. blog.myspace.com/jacewon
