Last night, after the Calvin Klein opening party at SC Plaza, which was a HIT, I had dinner at Hamamori, the sushi restaurant I always wanted to try which is where Bangkok Four used to be. Eating there is like eating Japanese art...at one point one of our dishes had real gold flakes speckled on it. The last course in our 8-course tasting menu was this piece of heaven right here. The carmel garnish you see is made from aged 18-year old whiskey, which was carmelized into that glaze. I wanted to clap at that dessert and give it a standing ovation.
